Hi Sean, thank you for all the work you do for everyone.? I am finally coming to visit again this coming weekend.? I am bringing a Siberian Shaman, Spiritual Teacher and Healer with me, who would be happy to talk to the group about the energetic amd Spiritual qualities of foods.? We wil be visiting Augusta on Sunday May 2nd after lunch , or we could meet for lunch there, if you are having a meeting that day.? ?Remember me?? I organize the Sylvania Peace and One Brotherhood meetup group, and I'm having a retreat there over the weekend .?? Severny Olen, Spiritual Teacher, Shaman and Healer is coming twith me, to do different workshops and to teach various practices.? I still have some space in the workshop, and anyone who is curious about this can email me and I will be happy to send them a flyer.? We are also open to attending any other meetings in the area, looking to start a group of people who are searching for deeper knowledge.? Thank you and Namaste.? Hello friends, family, fellow veggies and animal lovers,
I hope this email finds all of you happy and well. I want to thank each and every one of you for being a part of our wonderful group. I hope all of you have enjoyed the time you've been with us, meeting new friends, enjoying dinners/potlucks and finding a support system where there wasn't one in the area before. I also want to welcome and thank all of our new members to the group.
We have many wonderful events coming up over the course of the summer. I'm always excited about our events and know the ones coming up will be just as memorable as the ones in the past have been. Please, take a few minutes and look over the list for the summer, and RSVP when you know if you'll be able to attend or not. RSVPs help us in several ways, and it's always appreciated when members RSVP, whether it's 'yes' or 'no'. You can see all of the scheduled events below (but check the site often to keep updated on any new events that get scheduled):
Upcoming EventsWe know there are many different reasons people choose vegetarian/vegan/raw foodist/and any other sort of plant-based diet. These include health, religious/spiritual, ethical, environmental, and many other reasons. We also recognize that with a group as big as ours that our members are diverse and come from many different places to join us on our non-meat journey. The primary focus of the CSRA Vegetarian Society has always been, and always will be, a social one, but we've also made it a point to offer our members a variety of different ways to express their different interests. In the past, we've been very active in the community volunteering, raising money, and sometimes both with Golden Harvest Food Bank, the Aiken SPCA, CSRA Humane Society, and the American Heart Association. We even organized a protest, which was widely successful for our first, of Ringling Brothers circus when it was in town last month. In our determination to offer members various outlets and activities that interest them in different various aspects of their non-meat lifestyle, we will be offering those members who are interested in 'Animal Rights' an outlet as well. If you're interesting in this aspect of the group, feel free to contact Bill Bobo, Laura Blanchette, or myself for complete details. The primary focus of the group as a whole will continue to be a social one, and, in no way, will anyone be made to feel they are not a part of the CSRAVS because they chose not to participate in certain activities.
Thanks again for being part of our group. I'm happy to have each and every one of you as members. I look forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones this summer. Please feel free to contact me at any time. You can find my contact information below. Take care.
Best regards,
Sean
