Call of Cthulhu - The Stars Are Right!

The walls that divide our reality from the Outer Horrors has been weakening for years despite the valiant attempts of those few knowledgeable ones who have been striving to hold back the darkness.

Signs, portents and omens have been written large, there to be unraveled to reveal the truth. The Stars Are Right at the end of October 1932 . . . and the skies over New York will be torn asunder when the Entities From Beyond Time And Space will spill into the fragile human sphere.

Will you flee in panic?

Or choose to stand on the side of the Angels?

Or . . . perhaps on the side of the arriving Demons?

Hmm. Maybe I should have just fled in panic, as suggested ... Is that ever the wrong choice?

"Harrowing" "Epic" "The most intense game session I've ever been in." are some of the responses I've had emailed to me.

Twenty-two players. One Uber-GM. Three-Co-GM's. Three helpers to manage random encounters, military and civilian responses, and extra color. One player character death. One player character suicide. Lots and lots of insanity. Many broken characters due to moral and ethical choices that had to be made.

The Tesla Beam cutting through the darkened sky. Central Park shelled by artillery. Buildings in rubble. New York burning. Nearly nine hours of non-stop action.

    Ah yes. A perfect day.
