Monthly Meeting: Common Cause on Citizens United

  • Feb 18, 2013 · 7:30 PM

Kim Hynes of Connecticut Common Cause will talk to us about how the Citizens United decision by the Supreme Court in 2010 affected the 2012 election. She will specifically speak to the issue of secretive and special interest spending on political advertising.

Connecticut Common Cause is a nonprofit, nonpartisan citizens lobby dedicated to improving the way state government operates.

We'll start with thirty minutes of coffee and conversation at 7:30 p.m. The talk will follow brief announcements at 8:00 PM.
