We haven't done this in about a year, so time to bring back Topic Workshops

This will be a more relaxed session this time focused on people meeting each other and sharing expertise in a semi-structured setting.

Instead of having a formal speaker, we will do several mini-workshops on several topics. We will split up into several groups, based on a particular topic. Each group will bring up some issues / challenges that some of the people are interested in, and discuss it for 20-25 minutes. Every 25 minutes a new topic will be picked, and new groups are formed.

Topics to be decided / voted on, here are some potential ideas (we will probably end up doing three topics):

Topics to be decided / voted on, here are some potential ideas (we will probably end up doing three topics):

• Process - Lean, Agile, QA, UX, Product

• Managerial - Managing, Hiring, Motivating, Networking

• Management - growing people, hiring, motivation, org structure

• Size-based challenges - Army of One, Scaling, Big Data

• By Stack - Ruby, LAMP, .NET, Java, Python

• By Industry - eCommerce, AdTech, Analytics, Content

We've done this format a couple of times over the last few years and had a really great time.

Please come with some of your challenges or areas you' like to learn more about.

Afterwards, a bunch of us stays back to get some drinks and food. We've been going to Lilli's Victorian Establishment, 13 E 17th Street by Union Square.
