Introduction
I am a very hansd-on (jav oracle) tech lead/architect for a long time. I would like to join the group to get a more expansive perspective on technology from a CTO angle.
What languages/frameworks do you use (Java, .NET, PHP, Ruby, etc.)?
Java, Oracle
What topics might you be interested in?
Web/Serverside framweorks, mobile technology, security, scalabiltiy, high availability
Do you have any specific areas of expertise? Would you be willing to share it with the group?
Not that I can think of right now, know many frameworks etc.
What is your favorite unit test framework and why?
Junit, easy to use, fits in with Java echnology smmothly
What is your favorite version control system and why?
subversion, faster, commits more meaningful. Am also dabbling with some dvcs, like Gits.
