Engineer-founders (why does it always seem like in SV the founders are technical and in NY they are recruited / hunted by a "business" co-founder looking for a "technical" co-founder? Where are the entrepreneurial engineers?!) Technology innovation (it's not the size of your stack, it's what you do with it). Talking tech to business partners. Talking business to tech teams. Working with business partners. Finding the right business cofounder. Technology-driven startups (as opposed to technology-enabled). Building an engineering culture. Etc.

How to use technology as a business differentiator. Building defensible technology. Importance of defensible technology. Communication b/w biz and tech sides of the co.

What is your favorite unit test framework and why?

When I was your age we had to step through our code manually. Uphill, both ways. In the snow.
