Tell us about yourself (professionally). What technical leadership experience do you have already?

Manager for an IT operations team in 2009. Various random positions at a bunch of startups in between. Currently work stream lead for some of the more important projects at my current employer.

What languages/frameworks do you program in (Java, .NET, PHP, Ruby, etc.)? What is your favorite, if different?

Language agnostic specialized in Erlang. Professional level skills in PostgreSQL, JavaScript, and shell script.

What topics might you be interested in?

Career development.

Do you have any specific areas of expertise? Would you be willing to share it with the group?

I could talk about Erlang. But this place aiming to create CTOs that's probably too technical.

What is your favorite version control system and why?

git. Because you can take it with you and work while you are offline. (and because github is crazy easy to use)

Introduction

Startup junkie gone corporate.
