What languages/frameworks do you use (Java, .NET, PHP, Ruby, etc.)?
RoR, Ruby and Mathematica almost exclusively now.
What topics might you be interested in?
General trends that colleagues are seeing. Innovation of all kinds. The internet of "things" or said differently SCADA in the 21st century.
Do you have any specific areas of expertise? Would you be willing to share it with the group?
Large scale project management i.e. 100's of people 1000's of projects. Implementing RoR in Financial Services.
What is your favorite unit test framework and why?
rspec. Combines unit testing, mocks and stubs. Seamless integration with Cukes.
What is your favorite version control system and why?
Use both svn and git. Prefer git workflow for feature branches.
