Introduction
I'm a software engineer. That is my short introduction.
What languages/frameworks do you use (Java, .NET, PHP, Ruby, etc.)?
I use Java, Grails, a lot of PHP, JavaScript, Node.js, frequent amounts of bash and zsh.
What topics might you be interested in?
All topics are interesting at least once.
Do you have any specific areas of expertise? Would you be willing to share it with the group?
I've managed small teams and have evaluated software or other solutions to best fit problems. I've introduced other programmers to new concepts and libraries.
What is your favorite unit test framework and why?
Vows rocks. It's super easy to start with, and incredibly simple to use. Plus the output just makes sense.
What is your favorite version control system and why?
Git is my favorite because it offers a great amount of flexibility in how I develop. I can do everything how I like and it all integrates nicely with how everyone else likes to use it. It's a perfect solution for distributed versioning.
