Hi, I'm Denis Papathanasiou.
What languages/frameworks do you use (Java, .NET, PHP, Ruby, etc.)?

Scaling, cloud computing security, mobile data access
Do you have any specific areas of expertise? Would you be willing to share it with the group?
I've made prior presentations about NoSQL databases, and I've done a lot of work in high-volume data processing, e.g., stock exchange quote analysis. I've also experimented in automatic text processing: programmatic pdf file manipulation and extraction, as well as ebook (.epub format) file generation.
What is your favorite unit test framework and why?
I don't believe in unit tests b/c they're time-consuming and misleading (a commit can pass all the unit tests and still fail the intended transaction); black box testing on the whole is preferable imho.
What is your favorite version control system and why?
Tie between mercurial & git b/c they are free, actively-maintained, and distributed (i.e., they don't rely on a single core repository).
