Introduction

Long time technology enthusiast and practitioner looking for ways to expand my leadership abilities.

What languages/frameworks do you use (Java, .NET, PHP, Ruby, etc.)?

Unix, Oracle, Javascript, node.js, socket.io Java, Bourne shell, Perl, whatever the situation calls for.

What topics might you be interested in?

Recruiting, balancing hands-on work with leadership, communication, technology strategy development, GIT, open source strategies, new technology

Do you have any specific areas of expertise? Would you be willing to share it with the group?

Database and system architecture, general Unix software operation

What is your favorite unit test framework and why?

Nodeunit because it's striving to bring unit testing to a language and landscape that struggles to be testable.

What is your favorite version control system and why?

All in all CVS - because it's lightweight, old school and powerful. We use SVN which gets the job done.
