Introduction
A tech guy from the ages, started off in 2600 and dumpster diving in the streets of NYC. I am a DevOps Engineer whose sights are on VP of Engineering in related fields, who eventually wants to go an become a CTO -All before I turn 29. God-speed!
What languages/frameworks do you use (Java, .NET, PHP, Ruby, etc.)?
None. Not a programmer, but essentially I know shell scripting. I'm into Python, and Ruby for config management purposes.
What topics might you be interested in?
Becoming a CTO at a company. The jobs, roles, responsibilites, dealing with trolls, suits, and mental retardation. Hiring as well as firing of which I consider one of the most important tasks as a CTO, the former being even more important than the latter.
Do you have any specific areas of expertise? Would you be willing to share it with the group?
I don't consider myself to be an expert in anything. Hoe does one learn when he's an expert?
What is your favorite unit test framework and why?
I dont do this, but if I have to pick one off the top of my head I'd say JUnit.
What is your favorite version control system and why?
Git. DVCS, and cus of the hardcore forking that takes place.
