Tell us about yourself (professionally). What technical leadership experience do you have already?

I've lead a small team of developers before, and have had experience being a mentor to new coders successfully before. I don't have any experience building and managing a large team of developers, and would like to learn more about it.

What languages/frameworks do you program in (Java, .NET, PHP, Ruby, etc.)? What is your favorite, if different?

PHP (CodeIgniter), Ruby/Rails, Node.js, Javascript/CoffeeScript, jQuery, Ember.js, AngularJS. Also a big fan of Amazon EC2 and related AWS products.

What topics might you be interested in?

- How to make better decisions regarding technology/language/framework choices. - How to manage a team of developers - DevOps - Server security - Cloud infrastructure management - Load Balancing Applications and Database stacks, particularly how to keep load-balanced servers in sync with each other

Do you have any specific areas of expertise? Would you be willing to share it with the group?

I'm most experienced in JavaScript and all the popular libraries out there. My most recent infatuation is AngularJS, I've been using it for the past year and have put multiple projects in production successfully. I've been on Rails for almost the past 3 years, so I'm pretty fluent in that area.

What is your favorite version control system and why?

Git, for easy branching and merging.
