Tell us about yourself (professionally). What technical leadership experience do you have already?

I've tried many and find myself returning to JUnit/NUnit over and over again for their (relative) simplicity compared to many more complex approaches. In the Ruby space, I'm partial to Cucumber due to its focus on a BDD-style approach.

What languages/frameworks do you program in (Java, .NET, PHP, Ruby, etc.)? What is your favorite, if different?

Current: Java, .NET, Ruby Past: Fortran, C/C++, Delphi

What topics might you be interested in?

I'm most interested in discussions that center around practices and processes rather than technology implementations per se.

Do you have any specific areas of expertise? Would you be willing to share it with the group?

in 18+ years of developing software, I've just about seen it all :) and would be glad to share some of those hard-learned lessons with others.

What is your favorite version control system and why?

git, because it best-suits my style of working in a disconnected, decentralized team
