Tell us about yourself (professionally). What technical leadership experience do you have already?

jUnit is what we use. Good integration with cruisecontrol and eclipse.

What languages/frameworks do you program in (Java, .NET, PHP, Ruby, etc.)? What is your favorite, if different?

Mostly java. Some python.

What topics might you be interested in?

Building startup teams.

Do you have any specific areas of expertise? Would you be willing to share it with the group?

Lately focused on search and content enrichment. Have done a lot with semantic web technologies, RDF, Ontologies, etc.

What is your favorite version control system and why?

svn. I've been doing this a long time... started out using SCCS, then to rcs in the early 80s. svn works well with eclipse, easier branching and merging than cvs. Haven't ever tried git.

Hi, I'm Chris. I'm a software guy, currently managing technology and software development at a large scientific publisher. Mostly focused on search, content enrichment and the like.
