Where does touch come into your relationships? Only with a significant other? With friends? Or is it pervasive in your way of relating to others?

What Rob B. is saying about this Meetup Group

If touch is nurturing for you and you want a safe space to experience it in a non-sexual environment, cuddle parties are for you. Since sex is off the table, I think it opens both sexes up to really experience something that's very rare in our society - Touch and nurturing without it being mixed up with sex. As a guy, it was just nice to be able to ask directly, get a yes or no and either touch someone or move on to ask someone else. I don't feel like I have to play the guessing games that can often come up in other social situations if I just want to give someone a hug. I feel like the women are empowered to say "no" clearly. This helps them to feel safe and really be present to what I as a man am asking, as opposed to thinking that I really want to have sex rather than just touch and cuddle. It's all incredibly freeing. It's a like a kids slumber party but with adults.
