CUFORS - 'California UFO Research Society'

MISSION STATEMENT

The California UFO Research Society (CUFORS), is dedicated to the study and research of the UFO (Unidentified Flying Object) phenomenon, and (Close Encounter) events in Northern California.

Local sighting research is reported on our web site. Recent UFO and related phenomenon is shared with members via e-mail. Our site lists upcoming UFO events, UFO conferences, and suggested UFO readings. Research can extend to related events such as crop circles, and suspected animal (cattle) mutilations.

Actual field investigations are limited to a specific criteria.

Although most sightings can be rationally explained or are terrestrial in origin, I believe that a very small number may be the result of 'visitations' by various extraterrestrials or their intelligences. Just as our world has sent satellites and devices to other planets and beyond our solar system, so the possiblility exists that devices or (alien beings) could have been sent to ours!

My opinion is that certain agencies of the U.S. Government, have information about UFOs and extraterrestrials that is not being released to the public, ie. (Roswell-NM, and Kecksburg-PA). This 'Code of Secrecy' is preventing the truth, and disclosure about UFOs from reaching the public.

Although CUFORS is aware of what is commonly referred to as the 'abductee/contactee' phenomenon, we do not actively pursue or investigate such reports or claims.
