MAILINGLIST AND MEETUP REMINDERS OPTIONS

The options for optimizing your mailing list options on Meetup are getting better all the time! It's possible to more or less be updated about every event that takes place in town or, and this might be more functional, to be updated more or less only about the events you've signed up for.

And there is a lot of space in between!

HOW DOES IT WORK IN CULTI GROUP AMSTERDAM AND HAARLEM?

If you only want to be informed about Meetups you've signed up for, than please leave the notifications for "Commants" on.

If so, you will only receive E-mails from this group if you have signed up for an event.

HOW DOES IT WORK IN GENERAL?

In general event organizers use the mailinglist and also use automatic reminders.

FOR CHANGING THE SETTINGS FOR AUTOMATIC REMINDERS AND THE MAILINGLIST

1) Log in on meetup using a PC with a big screen
2) Surf to the group for which you want to change your E-Mail settings
3) Click on "Members" on the top left side of the screen
4) Click on "Edit communication settings"
5) Change the settings in anyway you like

BTW!!! => Some groups use mailingslists. If they do, the option to not get E-Mails that are sent to members of the mailing list is available. If this option is not available, than a group doesn't use a mailinglist.
