Stammtisch Newsletter: hosts needed for The Heimat Feeling!

Hi All,

The meetups of this group are getting better all the time, still at this moment the meetups do not offer every member of this group what they are looking for. This is a problem which can be fixed very easy! In this mail you can read what kind of events are lined up right now, and you can read what more is possible!

The events that are lined up right now, are events like language exchanges, football matches, and also daytrips and parties which are relevant for members of this group. Going to German movies together is the next step. These events are lined up for the simple reason right now only one event host is active - me. My interest is an interest in The German language and in all aspects of the culture around this very functional, rich and beautiful language. My interest is not elsewhere.

Therefor, if there are members that want to set up events that have a slightly different focus - feel free to do so! For example the German speakers with Not-Frisian German roots might want to make jokes about Ost-Frisians together - and might want to rant about the Dutch a bit. Plus talk about Heimat related things together, and just for a bit..... All this is not easy when the host is a Dutchman with Frisian roots ;)

So if anyone wants to set up an event like a dinner for 8 at your own place, or a drinks event in a cafe in the center of Amsterdam for Native German speakers only.... Feel free to do so! People that have German as a second language only are offered plenty of events to come and practice their German, so..... Here's how it works: sent me a mail if you want advise, or just suggest a meetup on the center middle of this page if you don't need advise =>

Thanks for reading,
