Just throw away your schoolbooks – the true story of Amsterdam gets told here! What started off as a Frisian settlement on a terp a LONG time ago, now changed into the international city Amsterdam is these days. As we all know, these days not Frisian but English is the language that matters the most in this exiting city. English opens the doors for you in Amsterdam. Dutch is relevant for connecting to the Dutch speakers more than anything else. So for playtime, we use English.

Almost every adult in Amsterdam talks English, but lots of people in Amsterdam also talk Dutch. This used to be the most important language inthis city until some years ago. Dutch, of course, still is the language in public administration and basic education. For REALLY understanding thiscity you still need  Dutch. There for, this group is bilingual. Which is fun! And FUN is the thing that matters the most in the group! Our citywalks, our educational events, our parties, our just drinks meetups, our daytrips and our dinners, they ALL have ONE thing in common: they are fun! Already convinced?

Then don’t hesitate – and just sign up!

In this group we will just enjoy walking on the center of the path to the future of Amsterdam - in a fun way! This Culti Mokum Meetup is the semi Dutch part of the Culti Group Meetup

Not covinced yet? Well, than maybe read the history of Amsterdam right here. If after this you are not convinced yet than maybe it needs a bit more time :)

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
