First things I'd like to say: I know sometimes people can't sign off or have other things in mind. Having this said: In both Amsterdam and Utrecht the attendance on the meetup yesterday was 20%. I don't know the number of Saturday in Utrecht. In Amsterdam on saturday 45 people signed up, and 13 showed up. In Utrecht on the meetup yesterday the show up was 20% too. 5 Sign ups, 2 show ups. Like this in time people will assume a 50 people sign up means 12 to 15 people will be there.. Like this we are all destroying Meetup together. If a sign up means nothing, the entire system doesn't work.... I hope people understand this.

George came all the way from Eindhoven for the sunday afternoon. Florine will commentif she feels like this. As far as I know she made the best of the rest of the day when it looked like noon would show up at all. I feel responsable too - when the sign up was only 6 on saturday, I told Florine small meetups can be the most fun ones.... But this is no fun at all!

I will NEVER take steps versus people in person for a no show, for many reasons, amongst which are: Culti Group is down-top, noon tells another what to do unless there is a VERY Good reason. Organizers don't know why a person didn't show up, most probably people were to lazy to sign off or have just forgotten about signing off, but sometimes something very bad happened, and than getting a mail with complaints about a no show pointed at a person in stead of at the group is NOT something I want to be responsible for....

Having all this said

PLEASE be as punctual as you can be with the sign up!
