Friday night Potluck Dinner in the Sukkah

For the festival of Sukkoth and Temple B'nai Brith's open house:

Please join us this Friday evening at 6:00 pm for Friday night services (held indoors) followed by a potluck dinner in the TBB sukkah!   Festival Friday night services are very short, so dinner should start long before 7:00pm.

We want to welcome everyone who comes to our services, and we know that people observe very different forms of dietary practice. To do so we will have two tables – one for (dairy/vegetarian) hechshered food, one for dairy vegetarian food (non hechshered).

(1) HECHSHERED table is for all pre-prepared store-bought food that has a hechsher. (regardless of whether the home kitchen is kosher). Only food that has been prepared directly under rabbinic supervision will be served on this table.

(2) DAIRY VEGETARIAN FOOD – All other dairy vegetarian food (including homemade food prepared in a kosher home)

Please make sure to place your food on the appropriate table. There will be someone there to help you. Bring utensils to serve the food you bring. We apologize but the synagogue kitchen must remain locked during the potluck.

Please dress modestly in keeping with Jewish tradition.
