I will be stuck in St Louis until after the 8/5 primary election so will be unable to attend any meetings before. (I'm a Poll Supervisor) I will send some poems with Alex. Hope to be back in CU mid Aug.

    For Steve,Jim,&William,
Over the land freckled with snow half-thawed
The speculating rooks at their nests cawed
And saw from elm-tops, delicate as flower of grass,
What we below could not see, Winter pass.
    - Edward Thomas-

A perfect little gem, don't you think? "Speculating rooks", a great line!

You might check out Anne Stevenson also, an American poet living in England. I think she's still living, around 90 now. Good stuff!
