The biggest CYP event of the year is almost here. The Foxfield Races are more than just a Charlottesville tradition; they are the biggest party of the year! Here is all the info you need to know:

Whether you're a veteran or a first-timer, Foxfield is the one event that should not be missed. Join us for a day of eating, drinking, and horse racing on the prestigious South Hill as we enjoy fine weather, friends, and some of the East Coast's best thoroughbreds running the track. Foxfield is the stuff of legends in CYP circles, so RSVP and grab your ticket now before we sell out! Tickets are available on a first paid, first served basis. Feel free to bring a non-CYP friend along, as we also have non-member tickets available as well.

Also new this year we will have live music from HoboJac! John and Jacob are an acoustic duo who have toured up an down the East Coast. HoboJac is based in Wintergreen and are thrilled to perform exclusively for the CYP Tent!

As an extra bonus, if you purchase 2 or more tickets, you'll get a free parking pass that will allow you to park right outside of the tent. Don't forget that the price of your ticket includes prime real estate on South Hill where you can walk right up to the track, a sumptuous buffet of gourmet food, and all the alcohol/beverages that you can drink. These tickets are also all-access tickets, so you can wander throughout the infield and outfield.

Tickets are $60 for CYP members and $75 for non-CYP members. Only Paid CYP Members may receive the discounted price. You can purchase your tickets online via Paypal or by cash/check from a CYP representative at designated events. Due to the limited number of tickets available, all tickets are non-refundable.

Ticket Pick Up: We will have a few events prior to Foxfield for you to claim your tickets and parking passes (if applicable). You may also claim your tickets and parking pass at the carpool site the morning of the event.

The following events are listed on the CYP calendar for ticket pickup. Please RSVP if you plan to pick up your tickets at one of these events.

Friday, April 9th – In Vino Veritas Wine Shop - 6:00 - 7:30
Wednesday, April 14th - Arch's (on Emmet) - 7:00 - 8:30
Thursday, April 22nd - C-Ville Coffee - 5:30 - 8:00

Carpooling: For people interested in carpooling, we will meet in front of Chipotle at the Barracks Road Shopping Center at 9:30 am. You have until 10 am sharp to get there, NO EXCEPTIONS! Hey, we want to get to the party too! Our #1 goal is that everyone has a fun and safe experience. As soon as we have a full vehicle, we will send you on your way! Some people will have to volunteer to be DD’s, again safety first.

We will have extra copies of the MAP and DIRECTIONS to Foxfield and the CYP tent!

What to bring: CYP will provide all of your food and beverages [beer & wine]. Please feel free to bring extras if you want. Other things you should bring: sunscreen, umbrella or rain gear (just in case), and extra cash for vendors if you want. Giant hats are encouraged, but optional!
