Ready to cool off from this heat? It's time to go tubing down the Brazos river, a family-friendly event!

Throw out the notion of running whitewater rapids in a tube. The whole idea of tubing is relaxing! We'll have a cooler, so bring a beverage of your choice and kick back! You need to bring a driver's license (to rent the tube), some cash (approx $20 for rentals), hat, sunscreen, and water to drink. If you can't afford to lose it, leave it at home or in the car. Zip-lock bags are great to keep your cash dry. Optional items include sunglasses, river shoes/sandals, snacks, or waterproof camera. Definitely no glass containers or styrofoam.

We'll meet at Rhodes Canoe & Tube Rentals (map link) just outside of Glen Rose at 10:00 AM. Look at the link as the place is not on most maps and can be missed easily along the side of the road. We'll float for about 3 hours, then take the shuttle back.
