    This was an interesting component from inside the RCA MX-7 stereo receiver/amplifier. It appears to be a disk of ferrite material, with a lead soldered on each side. As I'd expect the material to be conductive, I'm pretty sure it is not a capacitor. There are real diodes inside the unit, so I would not expect this to be a primitive diode of some kind. Perhaps it is some really-low value inductor. Any guesses?
