St. Edward's Park is found along Spicewood Springs Road west of Loop 360 (Capital of Texas Highway). Park in the parking lot, and not in the spaces along the road (continue on past the roadside parking and the parking lot is on your left). We will meet at the trail sign near the parking lot. Comfortable shoes are highly recommended.
There will be opportunities for the furkids to get in the water, as the trail follows Bull Creek for most of its length. The trail is shaded throughout most of its length, but bring plenty of water to drink as it will be warm. We will depart promptly from the parking area @ 4:15. If you are running late or have a last minute change of plans, please call Todd @ [masked] so as to avoid inconveniencing those of us who are expecting you. Thanks!
“ It was a great to meet those of you who attended and your cute doxies. St. Edwards park was a real treat hidden back there on the lesser known half of Spicewood Springs. This is one of our new favorite parks since Turkey Creek dried up. ”
“ The trail was muddy in some areas, but the dogs appeared to enjoy themselves. Many dogs, but not all, enjoyed swimming and wading in the water (mine required a bath when we got home--the stench from the back seat on the drive home was overwhelming). Once again, we were graced with wonderful weather. ”
