Doxie Trail Walk

Spring has sprung! April showers brings May flowers! Come celebrate the season with your favorite doxies at


Let's get together for a walk around the lake and talk about our favorite four legged babies. Our doxies will enjoy making new friends and have fun, fun, fun!

Meet by the pier near the boat docks which is near the office by the hill. We will wait around for 10 minutes for everyone to show up. We will start walking around the Lake if you get there later than scheduled time please start walking around the lake you will catch up to us. If you are not sure if you are walking the right direction call me

If you don't feel like walking then just meet us at the end of the walk by the picnic tables

Hope to see you all there, because we know doxies are short on legs, but looooong on fun!

Lafayette Reservoir is located off of Highway 24 and a mile from the Lafayette BART station.

Directions to the Recreation Area

From Oakland:
Take Highway 24 eastbound to the Acalanes Rd. exit. Continue down the off ramp, through the light on Mt. Diablo Blvd. Continue on Mt. Diablo Blvd. for approximately 1 mile. The Recreation Area entrance will be on your right.

From Concord:
Take Highway 680 south to Highway 24 West. Take the Acalanes Rd./Upper Happy Valley Rd. exit. Loop under the freeway to the stoplight which will be Mt. Diablo Blvd. Make a left on to Mt. Diablo Blvd. and continue for approximately one mile. The Recreation Area entrance will be on your right.

Make sure to bring quarters for the meter or $6 for all day parking. There is also parking outside the park by the street
