I can help with marking. I have a belly band (simple solutions) sold at most pet stores. I put a panty liner (with wings) in it. He wears it whenever he is somewhere he's prone to mark. My roommate got the Peekeeper for hers, google for that. It's is more like a harness and they can't wiggle out if it.

Warmest Regards,

Melissa

Thank you he is adorable and has a very sweet temperment. he loves to mark though.. the only draw back. I have tried a flat plate from Ikea. He gets very upset wtih it because he cant get it. I will try a soup bowl and see how that goes... if not go to a pet store and look at these. maybe bring him with us and see how it works with a treat. We are hand feeding him and honestly we didnt want to get into that but he has to eat. Thank you all and if all else fails I will get a bowl like the deep dish adn try it if I cant find one locally. Thank you.

Dogs that have long noses do better eating with a deep dog bowl.  Below is one that Amazon sells.  Attached is a picture of the bowl.  Give it a try.

Have you tried putting his food on a plate instead of a bowl? Or a shallow bowl used for salads?

Here is his nose. It's about an inch over his jaw. Hes spoiled but wants to eat but seems hindered and gets frustrated after trying. Would a bloat blows work or ?   Thanks.

We hand feed our dog because he has troubles eating off flat plates, all types of dishes. his nose is longer than I guess it should. Anyone else have this issue and know how to make eating easier for this doxie? Hes about 15 lbs shorter neck than most being a mini. He tries to dump the plate but even off the floor is hard. I hope someone here can maybe tell me if they have had the same issue.
Thanks
Jane
