My husband and I are getting ready to list our littermate boys on Craigslist, or take them to the Alameda County SPCA to find a home for them.  We are separating and neither of us will be able to keep them.  They are 6 1/2 years young and VERY playful.  The really need to stay together or they will get separation anxiety.  They are both neutered males (smooth black/tan and a smooth red).  Very loving.  Crate trained.  Must find a home by mid-March at the very latest.  We are located in Castro Valley.

We are desperately seeking a new home (together) for our two 6-year old neutered male littermates (they must find a home together or they would be very, very upset).  Both are smooth Dachshunds - one is a red haired smooth (Nutmeg) and the other is a black/brown (Taz).  We got them as puppies at 8 weeks old and they have tormented my older female ever since (mostly because they play really rough and she is quite fragile and delicate at 14 years old).  They are wonderful with each other . . . rough-housing and playing like puppies.  

 

We are NOT looking for any money at all and would come with their medium sized crate, as well as their harnesses and leashes.  (I prefer to NOT list them on Craigslist because I'm seeking someone who loves and understands Dachshunds, because I believe they are a very special breed - having been owned by them for 14 years now.)  We have had VIP Pet Insurance on them since 8 weeks and recently got rid of the insurance due to the monthly cost.  Their veterinary records since 8 weeks are available at our vet in Castro Valley.

 

Please let me know if you or anyone you know may be interested.  We live in the East part of Castro Valley - nearest Crow Canyon Road.
