Topic: Testing Medical Devices with LabVIEW and TestStand

NPS SOPs. TMVs. WIs. QSR. IQ/OQ/PQ. V vs. V… What does it all mean? Why is there so much process? How can I get anything done under these burdens? Come hear the answers to these questions and more. Come learn to use LabVIEW and TestStand to test devices that could be implanted in your father or your sister. Learn why “all that process” can be valuable. More importantly learn to design and execute these processes in a lean and scalable way. Learn to write test software for the medical device industry. And help make the world a better place.

Speaker’s Bio:
Albert DeWeese

Albert DeWeese is an expert at deploying test software in FDA regulated and other highly regulated industries. Albert came to St Jude medical from a major test systems integrator. He joined St Jude with the attitude that he would come in, cut through red tape, and challenge bureaucracy. Instead he learned why process is valuable. And he learned to craft the processes which now govern test engineering for St Jude's medical device testing. Come learn how to automate testing of your products when FDA is your biggest customer - or your customer’s customer. FDA domain expertise and knowledge of the Quality System Regulation is half the battle. This session will be delivered by an engineer who helped a major medical device maker improve its Non-Product Software Validation process. Call Albert at [masked] if there are specific questions you wish to hear answered at this presentation.
