I enjoyed it very much. It was a lot of fun. Every meetup opens my eyes to more Python possibilities.

If anyone cares I can give a quick demo of Cocos2d, an alternative to PyGame that offers higher level functionality and better performance. I compete in various game jams, such as the Ludum Dare 48-hour and Cocos2d allows me to develop games more quickly than PyGame. I've tried both.

Also, if you are not aware, there is another Python Meetup group in the area meeting this Saturday at 2pm in McKinney at the Cotton Mill. http://www.meetup.com/dfwpython/events/123566382/

Sure your welcome to give a demo. I have no preference towards any program. I was just using it to teach some basics. I haven't been to other meeting

Hello John, I list a lot of Makerspace open source demos and training sessions on DFW Apache LAMP meetup. Seems to be able to boost attendance. If you do decide to schedule a demo of Cocos2d then send me a mesage.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
