I have now added the TI LaunchPad to my list of things to explore! It is just like an Arduino Uno. It uses the same IDE just a different color.

The Arduino class is at the same time but not the same as this class. I can not speak for Ralph but he did state last month that you would be there with the launchpads for us to explore. I am looking forward to learning about the launchpads. Hope to see you Wednesday.

Ok cool. I will be there. If you want to get a head start, we will be using the energia tool. Feel free to download at http://energia.nu. I will have launchpads for you to use and depending on the class size, you will be able to take home a launchpad.

Is this still happening or is it turned into the arduino class? I haven't heard anything from Ralph for a few weeks.

Hi, I'd like to present on Texas Instruments LaunchPad for this workshop. www.ti.com/launchpad. I'll have some to giveaway. I'll go over some of the microcontroller portfolio that TI offers on the LaunchPad and talk about the Energia software (www.energia.nu) which brings the Wiring/Arduino style coding abstraction to TI hardware. After the quick overview of the LaunchPad ecosystem, we can do a mini-build night and try to make something cool.
