Learn to use Cad software to create paths for the laser cutter and CNC mills.
A laptop and a three button mouse are recommended to take the class. If you need a laptop to use please notify me in advance.

Learn how to build your drawing using lines, arc, circle, ellipses and splines.
Learn how to use tangents and shapes to build complex drawings.
Learn how to create Orthographic Projection. Learn how to create a smooth path for the laser cutter, so the laser isn't jumping around. Print and use scale to create your path.
The class will cover the basics in drafting, This includes how to create a drawing that you print to the laser cutter.
We will cover the different line types, how to make tangents and curves and how to join them into a single line
so that the laser can make a continuous cut. We will cover how to be precise with your measurements and angles.
If you are trying to make a complicated shape, we will cover how to create all sides of the object and create missing views of the model.
This class is not required to use the laser cutter, But it will teach you how to create your drawing
