This month we're going to go a bit more front-end focused than just straight up PHP. Our own co-organizer Jake Smith is going to talk about Javascript and some of the recent advancements that make the cool HTML5 things you're seeing more and more around the web.

In the flood of excitement for HTML5 there is an unsung hero, Javascript APIs. The new javascript APIs are driving the new features every developer desires. In this session we will discuss geolocation, app cache, history API and web sockets.

We'll be meeting in our usual spot, the SoftLayer offices there on Alpha just off the Tollway. We  hope you'll join us next week for this month's talk!
