This month, DallasPHP Organizers will be talking about Building RESTful APIs.

You have most likely consumed an API or 2 in your career, but now we will discuss key points to address when building a REST API. This months DallasPHP will be an overview of REST/HTTP where we will discuss proper status codes/headers, Authentication and Caching.

We'll be meeting in our usual spot, the SoftLayer offices there on Alpha just off the Tollway. We hope you'll join us next week for this month's talk!

Don't forget about Lone Star PHP June 28 - 29. This year we will be debuting our PHP Foundations track, for people new to PHP or just trying to sharpen their skills. Also, there will be an Open Spaces area for discussions on anything tech.

Here are some topics you will find at this year's conference:

Introducing Tests in Legacy PHP Applications

On the edge of Hypermedia

Aphorisms of API Design

Modern HTTP Architecture

And many more!

Be sure to use the coupon code "dallasphp" to receive a $25 discount on tickets.

Hope to see you there!

Next month a good follow up subject could be about frapi! An open source PHP API framework.

I agree, very informative and comprehensive. It was my first meeting and I'm sure I'll be back for more.

Excellent presentation. Went beyond the scope that I was expecting. I thought it would simply be a refresher for me but some very specific http status codes (by example) and the implementation of the PARTIAL verb were spectacular.
