Weekly Tues Beginner Salsa, Social Ballroom and Wedding dance training Meetup immediately after work every Tuesday.

THESE ARE SMALL AND INTIMATE TUESDAY CLASSES RIGHT AFTER WORK THROUGH FEB ONLY (6:15pm-7:00pm) OF EASY AND FUN MATERIAL FOR NEWCOMER DANCERS INTERESTED IN GETTING THEIR FEET WET IN THE SOCIAL DANCES WITH "NO PRESSURE!". THE GOAL IS TO HELP LEARN HOW TO PREPARE EVERYONE FOR UPCOMING WEDDINGS AND SOCIAL DANCE EVENTS, SALSA CLUBS AND SWING DANCE PARTIES.

The weekly Saturday afternoon Dance-at-Your-Wedding Workshop and Social Dance Class Meetup is from 11:00-11:45am. All classes are drop-in and will include review and new material each week.
 
NO PREVIOUS DANCE EXPERIENCE OR PARTNER NECESSARY. ALL ARE WELCOME AND ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND INCLUDING SINGLES, COUPLES, SAME-GENDER COUPLES & THE SEEING & HEARING IMPAIRED.

The class may include by request of those attending Dance-at-Your-Wedding Workshops, including social Black-tie & Wedding Ballroom, Latin and/or Swing plus Beginner Salsa and/or Rueda patterns if requested. Taught by Terry Chasteen from 6:15-7:00pm.

Other Salsa and Ballroom dance classes and Dance-at-Your-Wedding Workshops will take place on Saturday mornings from 11:00pm 11:45am plus numerous social Latin, Swing, Salsa and Argentine Tango classes all day Sunday from 2pm-8pm followed by dancing from 7-8;30pm in Salsa, Rueda and Latin and from 8pm to 11 pm in Tango ....EVERY SUNDAY!
2:00 (1) Bachata & (2) int West Coast Swing,
3:00 (1) Beginner West Coast Swing, (2) Brazilian Samaba and (3) beginner Mambo (Salsa on 2),
4:00 (1) Club Salsa for beginners, intermediates and advanced and (2) int/adv Mambo [Salsa on 2],
5pm-7pm Salsa Rueda for (1) beginner, (2) intermediate and (3) advanced Rueda dancers (Cuban Salsa in the circle that involves fun partner exchanges) and
7:00 (1) beginner and int/advanced Argentine Tango in studio B followed by Tango dancing until 11pm.

PARKING UPDATE AT THE CHEVY CHASE BALLROOM:
(1) 14 spaces are available at the East end of the Bank Of America parking lot during non-banking hours
(2) 10 spaces directly under the ballroom after 9pm when Paul's Liquor closes
(3) 12 spaces across the street at the BB&T Bank also during non-banking hours (two of which are for handicapped parking).
(4) Friendship Heights red line Metro is three minutes away at the Jennifer St exit
(5) the 30 line Metro bus stops directly across the street into the wee hours to Georgetown and all the way through downtown to Capitol Hill.
(6) Plenty of residential parking (2 hours during daytimes) also available along Harrison St and on the next block East along 42nd St at Harrison St NW behind Fox 5 News.
