    Hi Ed,
I've being trying to book one ticket with the code but it gives me the following message: "Sorry, there aren't enough tickets of that price type available, but other tickets may still be available"!
I've rang ticket web and they couldn't book me a meetup ticket either. Are there a limited number of meetup tickets available?

    August 9, 2013

    • ed m.

Hi Sarah, that should be OK now. There has been a big pick up in Meet Up sales. There are now some more Meet Up tickets available. Please be quick if you can, the advance sales will close fairly soon. Best wishes, Ed

    Hi Ed,
Is this the usual Friday Ceilidh organised by Cecil Sharp house?
If it is then its rather busy and will be difficult to spot fellow meet up members.

Hi Teresa, yes it is the usual ceilidh at Ceceil Sharp House and it is likely to be busy. We can arrange a meeting place e.g. immediately inside the main door of the hall on the right hand side and put some signs up on the wall saying 'MeetUp' if that would help. But it will be busy.....

This will be my first time going to the Ceilidh so I would appreciate having some help finding everyone to sit with.

Hi! I havn't been Scottish Dancing since I moved here nearly 20 years ago. I used to dance regularly with the Boston branch of the SCDS! I am not in very good shape - will this be too advanced for someone as out of practice as I am?

    1 · August 4, 2013

    • ed m.

Hi Lori, We'd love to have someone from the Boston branch with us. It will be no problem - there i a caller who will let you know the steps (if you need a reminder). You can dance as much or as little as you like. It'll be a blast....Best wishes, Ed

Would anyone object if I brought my bagpipes?

    July 29, 2013

    • ed m.

Hi James, that would be great. You can play before the band starts at 8Pm and/or in the break (about 9:20PM) if you fancy. Let me know. Best wishes, Ed

Hi, I'm curious, why are the Cecil Sharp events more expensive than the Battersea meets? Hope you don't mind me asking!

    1 · June 13, 2013

    • ed m.

ooops, hit the return button by mistake....sorry. To continue, the Ceilidh Club has to hire a hall and band and runs regular nights, some of these nights have the MeetUp group coming along as well. I hope that explains it. If you have any other questions then please just drop me a line. Best wishes, Ed
