contra dance with live band and caller

Sunday, Sep. 22,[masked]PM

River School Farm (Interpretive Gardens)

Reno, NV

Phone for info: (775)[masked]

Tom and Mary Kay Aufrance (banjo and accordion) are excited to be providing the music for the Urban Farm Fest! Slim and Minnie will be performing on stage and then we'll be joined by Reno's contra dance caller George Grover and musicians Vicki Hass (fiddle) and Norris Schultz (upright acoustic bass) in our newly formed contra dance band Local Honey! No set charge for dancing, but a donation box will be available.  But that ain't all...

This year urban farms from across the city are all coming together to celebrate the urban growing movement at this time of harvest and the autumnal equinox! Contra dance is just one part of the local program.

The combination of urban roots and contra dancing is a natural. Traditional food, traditional dancing. See you there.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
