Description:

Bachata has gained popularity these past several years. Bachata originated on the rural countrysides of the Dominican Republic. Bachata dancing is relatively up-tempo, and consists of basic back and forth or sideways motions. Because of its history as a dance between lovers, there are many sensual hip and body movements, with the opportunity for dance partners to move very close to each other.

In this class you will learn some cool patterns & combinations as well as lead and follow technique that will
help you take your bachata to then next level. You must know the basic movements to be in this class because we will be learning more intermediate patterns.

Now, you still have to PRACTICE, so have fun and a positive attitude towards learning, a smile on your face and open your mind to something new and exciting!

Yes, this includes you husbands or boyfriends who was talked into taking this class by a certain influential
person of the female persuasion. LOL

What is included in class:
-- Certificate of Class completion

What to wear/ Not to wear:
- wear comfortable but decent outfits.
- comfortable shoes. No rubber sole shoes, flip flops, sandals etc etc.

No partner required, but you are certainly welcome to bring a dance partner. We will be switching partners, but if you absolutely want to stay with your partner that is also not a problem. :-)
