Due to iPhone failure, arrived 20 min after the start but still managed to have an excellent (hilly) long run (exceeded my goal time by 18 minutes!)

Copying and pasting Tommy's post from Facebook:

Bryan Dulog asked about where would be a good spot for us to meet at the race. I'd like for us to get together for a pre-race photo if we can, and the easiest spot to meet is near the bib pick-up, in my opinion. It's not such a big race, that we won't be able to spot each other.
Post race, they serve food and snacks on the beach. They usually have several types of fruits, yogurts, fruit juices, pizza, ice cream, and sometime beer. They also have a cover band playing live music, so it's a lot of fun. Bring your beach towels, folks! I typically like to watch others finish once I'm done with my race, and then eventually after everyone's done, we can migrate to the food area and meet each other there. Again, it won't be that hard for us to spot each other I think.

Is anyone taking the train? I'm thinking about taking it.

I do but it seems like it might be easier to take the train?

The only thing with the train is that there's a cutoff for the shuttle. I plan on spending some time at the beach.

I found final instructions from the race organizers in my spam box, so you may also want to check yours re: baggage, parking, amenities, post race activities...

Anyone have a strategy for this race? I'm just going to bum rush the first mile and miles 4-8 and see what happens from there.
