Great run, nice pace. Apologies Martina, lost you somewhere around reservoir. I was intently focused on finding water and lost you before I'd stopped at fountain!

Oh you didn't lose me, I simply had to let you go, the last two miles were so tough because of the heat that I had no choice but to slow down... Nice running with you!!!

Weekend runs are always defined by the run leaders and the distance may vary according to their plans. That said, here are some recommended workouts for the weekend of July 6-7...

FALL MARATHONERS: 10-12M at long run pace. Do 12 if you have regularly done long runs of at least 10 miles for the past few weeks; otherwise stop at 10-11.

NON-MARATHONERS WITH A SOLID BASE: 9-10M at long run pace

IF BUILDING A BASE: 6-8M at easy or long run pace

Long run pace is slightly faster than easy, but is still 45-60 seconds/mile slower than marathon goal pace (or your estimated goal pace if you were training for a marathon).

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
