I hope people had a good run this morning. Next Saturday, we'll go to 9:00 am for January and February 2014. May add an extra set of stairs too!

Weekend run routes are always defined by the run leaders and the distance may vary according to their plans. That said, here are some recommended workouts for the weekend of December 28-29...

SPRING MARATHONERS FOLLOWING OUR ADVANCED PLAN: 104 minutes at long run pace

SPRING MARATHONERS FOLLOWING OUR INTERMEDIATE PLAN: 100 minutes at long run pace

NON-MARATHONERS IN GOOD SHAPE: 80-90 minutes at long run pace

IF BUILDING A BASE: 60 minutes at easy or long run pace

Long run pace is slightly faster than easy, but is still 45-60 seconds/mile slower than marathon goal pace (or your estimated goal pace if you were training for a marathon).
