Manhattan Weekend Run

Please post your pace and expected distance when RSVPing.

This route starts at TWC and enters Central Park at Columbus Circle, from which point we'll do one loop of the bridle path. At the end of the loop, we'll exit the park at West 72nd St and head over to the West Side Highway. When we hit the WSH we'll turn right and head north towards the George Washington Bridge.

For those doing the full 16 miles per the DWRT training plan, the turn-around point is parallel to 158th St on the Hudson River Greenway, just before the path starts to diverge again after converging briefly with the highway overpass. Check out the map here:

Reminder - Whippets training plan for this weekend:

Saturday and Sunday, 3/15-16: Good luck, NYC Half runners! Everyone else: On one weekend day, 30-64 minutes easy. On the other day...

Spring marathoners (who aren't doing the NYC half): Long marathon pace run: 2M easy, accelerate to marathon pace for 13M, then 1M easy

All other runners (who aren't doing the NYC half):[masked] minutes at 60sec/mile slower than marathon pace
