Started running about a year ago and now I'm crazy for the thing. I also do duathlons and triathlons. I'm currently part of the Team for Kids fundraising team in hopes of securing a spot in the 2012 NYC Marathon!
For races: 5 miles or shorter - 6:30 - 6:45 per mile. 5 miles to 13.1 miles - 7:00 - 7:30 per mile. For regular training: it varies but usually between 7:30 - 8:30 per mile.
My typical training run is 10K 2-3 times a week. And I swim or bike the other days of the week.
