Get together with other boardgamers at Rivendell (the Organizer's house in Mason) for a two-day gaming marathon to play Eurogames and other similar boardgames. Bring in your favorites, or learn a new game! Latecomers welcome (please let us know). This group is FREE.
Note: crash space is available for the overnight.
We started our Marathon with some quick games: For Sale, No, Thanks!, and Incan Gold.
We then split into two groups: Small World: Underground; and Vikings. Although I had a great overfeeding strategy, Ron won by having the longest island.
There were games of Catan, La Strada, and an odd game called Felix, which no one liked.
We switched to Egizia. After having lost badly the last time I played, I was pleased to find myself in the lead from mid-game on and continued into victory.
We ended with Dominion. We had a good balance of cards, and I found too late in the game that Masquerade and Torturer can be combined in an interesting manner.
The next day, we played a 6-player, 3-team game of Robo Rally. Team RAmy (Renee/Amy) came in first, with Erin/Tyler touching the last flag in the same round that we did.
We ended with Kingsburg. I tried the Mercenary for the first time, and liked not having to worry about the bad guy. A lot of rules got scrambled, but we had fun!

Hi, I may bring one of my sisters, she is more into gaming than I am, and I haven't been exposed to these kinds of games, so I probably would like to watch someone, like be their shadow thanks :)
