Welcome to the Depression and Bipolar Support Group of Carroll County We're glad that you've heard of our organization and that you're interested in learning more about us and attending our weekly support group. The support group has been in existence since 2007 and has continued without interruption since then. Though we have had different Directors and Facilitators our group meetings are still focused entirely on helping others who have been diagnosed with a mental illness or have a loved one who is diagnosed with a mental illness.
Requirement for Attendance
• Must be 18 years or older; 16 and 17 year old may attend with parent/guardian and with a prior interview with Director.
• Must have control of your personal actions while engaged in the support group meeting.
• If you are a mental health or other medical provider, you should use this time to share your own experience with your own or a loved ones mental health disorder.
• Fully understand that this group does not provide any professional advice, but we do encourage additional narrative with the attendee's mental health providers.
