Not that I think this will be a problem, but bear in mind that this is a 501C3 organization, so there are some constraints on what dcacm is allowed to do.

Re sponsorship ideas: As an example, George Mason U. has sponsored events for other organizations. They have commented to me that they like to know up front, what they get in return for their sponsorship, e.g., participation in the sponsored event by a number of potential students. In other words, in this example, the sponsoring organization likes to be told - You will receive XXX benefit if you sponsor this YYY event.

Joe was interested in trading sponsorship ideas. Let's get a conversation going on that.

Should be the start of a successful year for the DC chapter. It was good to meet active supporters of the DC group.
National ACM uses SurveyMonkey. I just filled out a survey from Hugh ffrench on how national should promote local activities.

One suggestion that came up for the next meeting is to offer electronic access via google hangout or video chat. Several individuals wanted to participate, virtually.

I feel the same. Many actionable ideas came up. I especially enjoyed our discussion around organizational goal setting for the year.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
