Paul Hyland, Chair of the Intellectual Property Committee of ACM, will be joining us to discuss what the ACM Public Policy Council is about. He'll talk for a few minutes then we'll go into casual chit chat over beers.
Please bring a six pack of your favorite beer to share, DC ACM will provide a few to start us off. Best beer choice gets street cred @ SIG-BEER!

Thanks for inviting me. I don't know if I'll speak for a whole half hour, but I'd love to answer your questions and find out what our chapter members care about in the policy space.
BTW, I'd like to correct some of the names of the ACM entity I work with - maybe you can update the title/description of the event?
USACM is the ACM US Public Policy Council, also referred to as the USACM Council. I am a council member by virtue of charing the USACM Intellectual Property Committee.
I was about to continue, but I want to leave myself something to say on Thursday. See you then!
