Ann Loar Brooks shares her pictures and experiences on her 800k journey on the Camino de Santiago. Since medieval times this pilgrimage route has been traveled by people from all over the world. Located in northern Spain this trail travels through some of Spain's most picturesque country side. Ann has hiked the trail twice where she made new friends from 18 to 80 years of age. She will discuss lodging, food sources, security, equipment, and what to expect on the trail plus some packing suggestions.
For those coming early, we can meet at An Poitin Still (The Still) 2323 York Road, Timonium, MD 21093 for happy hour and then head to Rei for the 7 o'clock event. The Still is 1 mile north of the REI store along York road.
